2年ぶり8作目となる新作「Blazing Crisis」をリリースした日本が誇るハード・ロック・バンド BLINDMAN。 新作「Blazing Crisis」はスケールが大きくダイナミクスに富んだサウンドにメロディアス、そしてパワフルな楽曲が並んでおり、新作を楽しみにしているBLINDMANのファンは勿論のこと、まだBLINDMANを聴いたことがないロック音楽ファンも十分に満足させる素晴らしい内容に仕上がっている。 アルバムのプロデュース、作曲を手掛け、メロディアスかつガッツ溢れるギタープレイを聴かせてくれるバンドのギタリストであり司令塔でもある中村達也氏にBLINDMAN、アルバムについて語ってもらった。

BLINDMAN is one of the few authentic hard rock bands coming out of Japan. They have just released their 8th studio album titled “Blazing Crisis”, 2 years since their previous release. “Blazing Crisis” portrays a dynamic and grandeur sound of powerful melodic tunes. This first class album not only satisfies the BLINDMAN fans, but has the potential of pleasing global rock fans still not familiar with the music of BLINDMAN. Tatsuya Nakamura, the guitar player of the band, appeals greatly with his melodic guitar performances filled with spirit. Also the producer, songwriter, and mastermind of the band, Tatsuya Nakamura took time to talk to us about the band and the new album.

BLINDMAN, Japan’s leading melodic Hard Rock band, released their 11th studio album “EXPANSION”. Their melodic gems and unique style are still heard in a excellent form on this crucial album. This is their 3rd studio album with current line-up since Ray (Vocal) and Shun Minari (Drum) joined the band. Tatsuya Nakamura has again proved his talent as a composer, melody-maker and of course a guitarist and produced wider style of music while keeping their signature melodic Hard-Rock style. Ray and Shun Minari gave synergetic effect and BLINDMAN’s music went deep, also contribution by Tatsuya Toda (Bass) and Hiroki Matsui (Keyboards) are excellent in terms of keeping their music in BLINDMAN fashion. We had a chat with all of the band members about this new album “EXPANTION” which is surely going to impress not only their fans, but also wider range of music lovers.

日本が誇るメロディック・ハードロックの至宝 BLINDMANが通算11作目となるスタジオ・アルバム「EXPANSION」をリリース。今作でも珠玉のメロディ、BLINDMAN節は見事に健在。ボーカルのRay、ドラムの實成峻を迎えた現在のラインナップでのスタジオ・アルバムは3作目となるが、ギタリストとしては勿論、コンポーザー、メロディメーカーとしても音楽に対してジャンルの枠に捉われないバリエーション豊かな楽曲をクリエイトする中村達也の才能があらためて示された作品となっている。メロディックなハードロックといった核の部分は継承しつつも、Ray、實成峻の加入による相乗効果が発揮された音楽的に懐が深く様々な彩どりを聴かせる楽曲群、それらバリエーション豊かな楽曲群をBLINDMAN流として統一感を持たせることへの戸田達也(Bass)と松井博樹(Key)の貢献も素晴らしく、今作は、従来のBLINDMANファンは勿論、これまで以上により幅広い音楽ファン層に響くであろう快心の作品となっている。新作「EXPANSION」についてBLINDMANの各メンバーに訊いた。

A leading Japanese Melodic Hard Rock band BLINDMAN has released their 10th studio album “Reach For The Sky”. Their emotional Hard Rock style, which have been attracting their supporters, is still alive and one and only BLINDMAN will ever disappoint their fans! They even challenged new styles. A cover of “Da Doo Ron Ron” which is famous for the version by Crystals produced by a legendary, influential Pop music producer Phil Spector. Crystals’ pop style track morphed into BLINDMAN style in an excellent manner. The beautiful track “Blue Moon” displays versatility of their musical style and skills and it appeals to non Hard-Rock people.
