MUSICMANよりローステッドのフィギュアード・メイプルを採用したCutlass RS（HSS、SSS)モデルが登場した。
今回登場したモデルは、ネックに厳選したローステッドのフィギュアード・メイプルを採用したHSSピックアップ・レイアウトのCutlass RS HSSモデル、そして3シングル・ピックアップを搭載したCutlass RS(3シングル・コイル)モデルの２種。
Cutlass RSは、ネックに厳選したローステッドのフィギュアード・メイプルを採用した3シングル・ピックアップを搭載したモデル。ステンレス・スティール・フレットが打たれたフィンガーボードは、ボディ・カラーによって異なるローステッド・フィギュアード・メイプルまたはローズウッドを採用。
ボディー材には、軽量なアルダーを採用し、ピックアップはカスタム・ワウンドのシングルコイル・ピックアップをマウント。加えてシングルコイルの弱点であるノイズを除去するサイレント・サーキットと音痩せを防ぐバッファー・サーキットを備え、素晴らしいシングルコイル・サウンドを提供。
シャーラーのM6-INDロッキング・チューナーとヴィンテージ・モダン・トレモロの装備により、チューニング・ディフェンスの高いトレモロ・プレイにも対応するなど、モダンなデザインと高いプレイアビリティを高次元で融合させたギター。ボディー・カラーは6色をラインナップ。
