BFR(ボール・ファミリー・リザーブ)は、アーニーボール・ミュージックマンがストックしている木材の中でも、特にハイグレードな木材のみを厳選して、製作される特別グレードのモデル。また、ボディには、さらなる鳴りを追及したマホガニー・トーン・ブロックを搭載した構造により特別なサウンド・チューニングが施されている。

LIII BFRのボティ・トップには美しいキルトまたはフレイム・メイプルの2種類を持ち、それぞれにHHとHSSのピックアップ・レイアウトがラインナップ。カラーは、Hazel Burst(ヘーゼル・バースト)またはBlueberry Burst(ブルーベリー・バースト)の2種類が用意されている。
またネックにはローステッド・メイプルを採用。
